MID-ATLANTIC HOPPER! HERE IS LINK-Registration for the October Mid-Atlantic Hopper is this Saturday 12pm.  It will sell out!  Start considering whether you are interested in registering as an individual or if you are thinking about a team.

The BWI Mid-Atlantic Hopper has become the Mid-Atlantic Region's most competitive event outside of Regionals. Individuals and teams that compete at the Hopper will show up at Regionals and the CrossFit Games. The weights are challenging, movements technical, and there is no scaled team division.

Having said that, I encourage ALL members that feel up to the challenge of the Hopper consider participation in the event. Balance Gym will be fielding one team of 5 athletes to represent the gym. We will be holding tryouts for these spots both male and female. The coaches at Balance will be putting together a set of workouts that test an athlete's ability at the highest competitive level. We will be using previous years' Hopper workouts to determine weights and workouts.
Note there are many different categories to compete as an individual including: Masters, Social, Elite, Rx'd. If you are torn between a team or competing as an individual, please consider purchasing your spot as an individual and then perhaps you can always give it to someone in the case you make a spot for the team.
Please email Danielle ASAP regarding your interest for team consideration.
