Why CrossFit Balance?

At CrossFit Balance, we provide a comprehensive approach to fitness based on our dedication and pursuit of excellence, community, and dynamic programming.  Our CrossFit studio includes a strength grid for climbing; back deck and new rooftop deck for outdoor workouts; and toys including prowlers, tires, sledge hammers, and slosh pipes.  Members have access to our adjacent 22,000 square-foot Balance Gym facility.  We provide you with efficiency in your workouts, opportunities for other athletic pursuits, and the support with broad ranging services to meet your goals.

We strive to create a motivating environment that combines active and engaging coaching – and a strong sense of camaraderie amongst members.  Our commitment to excellence is in our program design.  Our diverse team of coaches offers a unique perspective on general programming and specialty areas including: gymnastics, rowing, Olympic lifting, and powerlifting.  Part of the training philosophy at CrossFit Balance is that you must have a solid foundation of strength.  We design a program that sets up trainees for gains while avoiding dreaded training plateaus.  Our programming template also enables us to stress proficiency in mechanics and skill development.  Additionally, we offer seminars, specially classes, and nutritional support including dietary challenges, a juice bar and an upcoming catering service.  Other supplementary services include massage and physical therapy.

At CrossFit Balance, we pursue excellence in our movements, stress goal setting, and strive for a balanced lifestyle.  We provide a template for progress.  You bring the attitude and commitment.

Progress- Progress takes patience, discipline, and S.M.A.R.T (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely) goals.

Attitude- We require a positive and focused attitude.

Commitment- Training requires consistency and discipline in and out of the gym.  Every big goal derives from a series of small achievements.

Our Community

Between commitments for graduate studies, demanding work schedules, travel obligations, and friends and family, we all find time during our workouts to connect and support one another.  Bonds emerge as we encourage, motivate, gain respect and admiration, and experience the pain and gains within our walls.  We inspire one another in our active endeavors, take pride in one another’s accomplishments, and most importantly develop special and everlasting friendships.

CrossFit affiliates are distinguished between other training facilities/gyms based upon this sense of community, fostered by the nature of the workouts and social atmosphere.  At CrossFit Balance, we stress results and obtaining these through with friends and having fun.  Your fellow CrossFitters will hold you accountable and are imperative for your success at the end of the day. 

In addition to the coaches at CrossFit Balance, CrossFitters provide encouragement, motivation, and guidance to one another.  CF Balance CrossFitters bond through participating in local races and CrossFit events, coordinating recreational activities such as flag football, hikes, or runs, and through our social events including fundraisers, happy hours, and other social events.
